Olivia is the great niece of our designer Chuck and she is four years old. She was born with a severe heart defect know as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). Simply put, she was born with half of a heart.
The Dorothy Mae Candle Company 1916 is proud to be a part of Olivia's Fundraiser for Congenital Heart Defects.
By purchasing these fine handcrafted soy candles, tarts, chunksters, room sprays and refreshing oils, you will be supporting Olivia and The American Heart Association's Heart Walk.
Olivia is joining The American Heart Association's Heart Walk to be held the first week in August 2012. Her objective is to promote physical activity to build healthier lives free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
A large percentage of the sales will go to Olivia to donate to The American Heart Association the day of the walk. None of this money is going directly to Olivia. She is a wonderful little girl and who in spite of a congenital heart defect, has the biggest heart in the world.
